    Proof of ownership of house

As I indicated before, your tax bill should suffice.  But from what you have stated here, it only demonstrates that your husband owns a house.  Not you. But I suspect for military purposes,  it will be sufficient.

    Proof of ownership of house

The title of your thread is "Proof of ownership of house".  You state in your first post you need to prove ownership.  Ownership = Legal title

    Proof of ownership of house

Yes, I have heard of the Marital Property Act.  In fact, I studied it at while at law school at UNB.  The fact of the matter is that you do not have legal title to the home.  You definitely have an argument for beneficial title but you don't have legal title.  I could drone on at great length...

    Proof of ownership of house

    (1)  People pay taxes on the property they own (either outright or by way of a mortgage). (2)  Property taxes are based on an assessment of the value of the property.  (3)  The value of real property is enhanced by the 'things' you add to the property (ie. buildings); however, you are paying...

    Judicial review for submarine contract

I don't mean to sound rude but what is the point of your post?  (I know that sounds hateful but is not intended in such a manner -- dang internets!)

    Judicial review for submarine contract

No one would ever call me a fan of the Irvings; however, I have to say that if there is any merit to the allegations that the parent company of the winning bidder actually drew up the bid requirements, I think arguing the matter is the right thing to do.

    Judicial review for submarine contract

The issue was that the market could not sustain two stores and that Home Depot was a multi-national along the lines of Wal-Mart with which the Irving operation was unable to compete.  It was a matter of 'controling the east coast' inasmuch was it a practical business decision. Or should they...

Debating: Tone and Content on Army.ca

Meridian: I am generally pretty quick to step in and call posters on stupid comments, failures to search, msn-speak and poor attitudes.  I have remained out of this discussion to this point; however, your last comment provided a focal point for my thoughts. While I appreciate what you are...

Looking for: Used GSM (Rogers) cellphone for my daughter when I deploy.

PM me your particulars.  I have a fairly decent Rogers motorola she can have.  Edited to add:  I can't find the charger for it so you would have to buy a new one.  If anyone else has a phone with a charger, it might be cheaper for you.  That being said, if you want it, it's yours.

Woman wins settlement in CIA brainwashing case

Wrong.  It's not semantics.  It is entirely two different processes within the legal system... but you obviously know more than I about the legal aspects of the subject matter so I will defer to your experience.   ::)

Woman wins settlement in CIA brainwashing case

Just a slight correction to the title of this thread: The woman received a settlement.  She didn't win a settlement.  Settlements are negotiated to the satisfaction of the parties; hence, there is no win or lose.

It's hot and humid... let's go running

Don't get me wrong... I think it is awesome that you are out running.  I really do.  I am sorry if my post sounded as if I was disparaging of your hard work.  My comment was more directed at the point that I could not discern from your post how far you ran.  Congratulations on your...

It's hot and humid... let's go running

I am guessing he/she is new to running.  His/her first paragraph talks about being on a training schedule that calls for running every second day.  No offence to anyone new to running because we all were at some time but that is a noobie schedule.  And there is no way a noobie is running 9k in...
