I got my call today start April 12th for Infantry (RCR)! (oh and CONGRATS!)

Hey any people from Edmonton people starting BMQ on April 12th?  I just got the call this morning for 031 RCR.  Very hyped, g/f very upset. From reviewing some of the posts seems like there are alot of infantry going on this BMQ anyone else going RCR?

I JUST got the call!!!  For RCR I'm from Edmonton but they offered me RCR so of course I took it!

Here in Edmonton I've always had great service (except for one person but my file got transfered from her).  Maybe its just something in the water in BC (well maybe not the water...), Manitoba, and Quebec that effects the recruiting staff in weird ways  :P

A buddy of mines plays soccer and cricket religiously he said that $400.00 for orthodics is a little pricey.  He states that his are $250-300 he said that they need to be done every year but because he only uses his for sports he can get 2-3 years out of them.

I understand it (could be wrong).  That the results on the fit test assist partly in the overall merit ranking process.  Therefore it would make no sense for the evaluator to stop you at 20 pushups.  When I did my test in Edmonton you did pushups until you stopped or the evaluator stopped you...

In my case they waitied for the all clear to come back from Borden.  Then I had to redo my Security check as they closed it when they closed dowen my file.  So yes I believe they have to do the security check again
