Okay, not defending Biden, because I don't care for him one way or another.

But he has been politely asking people to get vaccinated for months now. No bueno.

So now he's being impolite. It probably also will not work.

The thing here is people who do not want to be vaccinated are not going to be swayed no matter what Biden said or says in the future.

What has been great though is the good people at fox News changing their tune and telling folks to get vaccinated. Uptake in red states has risen since they did that. Almost enough to make one forget that they were spreading vaccine falsehoods for months via tucker Carlson and Hannity.

Yes, it's a good balance.

We need more rapid tests for this to be feasible, but it's my belief that rapid covid tests should be as easy to get as pregnancy tests.

That would help keep covid under control, along with vaccinations.

Had we followed our first Endo's advice, we would still be jabbing our daughter with needles and finger pokes. It was parents that drove the looping and artificial pancreas devices, not the medical field. For complex and chronic issues, you will get faster and often much real world advice from other sufferers than you will from the medical community. The health system is great if you break a leg, have a car accident, they suck at long term care and chronic care. The emergency ward releases you and says "See a specialist", 18 months later if your not dead....

Patient groups and AI are the future of non-hospital long term medical care.

I should have been more specific. I was referring to Covid vaccination.

As entertaining as the opinions of some TV and internet personalities are on the subject , I don't know them.
