If we are going to someplace with bad guy tanks, then putting TOW on each LAV and Coyote might not be a bad thing.  There would be a big training bill.

Understood... but just to clarify my thought - it was not to strap TOW onto each LAV or Coyote (unless you want to of course ), but to take the seventy or so vehicles designated for LAV TUA and put the 25mm/TOW equipped Delco turret (if you think we'd run into supply problems with the 30 mm) on there instead of the old Kvaerner turrets. That way the machine has some firepower aside from the missle and a 7.62mm, allowing it's role to be expanded.

Oh and +1 to the other shopping items. I really am surprised you guys don't have more thermal equipment kicking around.
