Hmmm, you are more than likely right, but then there was the pressure being applied to a former minister of Justice by the Clerk of the Privy Council and the PMO CoS during the SN Lavalin disagreement.
But that could be written off as inter-cabinet shenanigans.

A slow day at the household and I decided to dig into the YouTube archives. The Power and Politics archive was quite interesting. Vassy Kapelos is no longer at CBC, Marco Mendocino was star cabinet material at the time and we all know how his career has turned out. Erin O'Toole was quite happy in his critic position, and Charlie Angus was the NDP happy warrior. They are all or soon to be all out of politics.
The most interesting part was the Power Panel Liberal talking head making claims of conservative attacking the integrity of government institutions. Boy that was the thin edge of the wedge of many others questioning this governments integrity for a plethora of issues.

The only thing I want to say is that the entire affair stunk to high heaven and in the finest traditions of Canadian secrecy, we will never find out the truth until Fallout Shelter 105 is breached in 3055.
