The COS Kelly affect? Good riddance. IMHO Bannon was a big part of the problem and I would not be surprised if he was or was one of the leakers.

That's what the Mooch said.

DNC National Press Secretary Michael Tyler said in a statement: “There is one less white supremacist in the White House, but that doesn’t change the man sitting behind the Resolute desk. Donald Trump has spent decades fueling hate in communities, including his recent attempts to divide our country and give .”

There is no indication that President Trump has any white supremacist or racist inclinations whatsoever, or evidence of him "fueling hate", "dividing our country", or "giving a voice to white supremacists".

The movies were to push Trump’s claims that local officials accepted private clubs that excluded Jews and blacks, but imposed tough restrictions on his “inclusive one.” Trump later used this to bolster his claims on Good Morning America that “there’s nobody that’s done so much for equality” as he has."

Loachman you outta put a trigger warning on some of those links.

Trump is disavowing racists and the KKK, repeatedly? Crazy.

Half a million to protect a speaker. I wonder if it's protecting the gay speaker from Nazis or Berkley staff.

Claims that the President holds racist views are simply empty hyperbole.  People who say as much are muddling the issues and probably aren't worth listening to.

That's to protect him from Antifa protesters. They do not like him. They rioted during his last attempt to speak there, and did considerable damage to University property. There are lots of videos of that, and of his speeches, on Youtube.

Some people will remain in denial.  It is outrageous that we see so much on university campus' these days, in the US and here, where supposedly intelligent students are shouting down the Rights of others' to speak, sometimes resorting to violence.

You should have seen the sixties. These guys are still amateurs -- but they're learning.  ;D

I posted that quote from the DNC knowing it was just an attempt of the Democrats to jump on the bandwagon. I guess they never read the interview Bannon did with The American Prospect magazine.

http://prospect.org/article/steve-bannon-unrepentant

“The Democrats,” he said, “the longer they talk about identity politics, I got ’em. I want them to talk about racism every day. If the left is focused on race and identity, and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats.”

The Democrats have no message and are going with their bumper sticker strategy which is "Have you seen the other guys?" That won't do much to achieve gains in the house and senate in 2018.

From what friend on Facebook who shared this from some guy on reddit:

The hubris of Trump greatly portrayed on reddit by user Bwob :

Has anyone else given much thought to how beautiful this whole situation is?
You've got Trump, who clearly craves external praise and validation. He needs it.
He's president now, because he decided to be, and was in the right place at the right time, to be a useful pawn for foreign powers.
But he clearly hates actually being president. It's not like he expected at all. He clearly thought it was going to be like some fantasy cross between being a CEO and a King. He'd just wave, sign things, and generally dictate "vision", and have "his people handle the details." Instead, he has to make difficult decisions, receives constant criticism for his mistakes (which are myriad), and scary, serious people are digging through his closet, which does not just contain a few skeletons, but is, at this point, more like Fibber McGee's closet o' bones.
But here's the thing - he can't resign, because the Mueller investigation is still hanging over his head like some Damoclean sword. And it stays there, whether or not he's president. It's always edging closer. We know it. He knows it. Everybody knows it. And he knows that at some point, enough skeletons are going to be unearthed that sword will fall, and when it does, it's going to fall hard.
And his only hope, at this point, is to test the powers of a presidential self-pardon.
So he can't resign.
But he hates to stay.
You can see it in his speeches and remarks. He craves attention and praise, but he's stuck here, watching his allies desert him, watching his crowds dwindle, watching his supporters demonized, and watching the press condemn him. But he can't even throw a fit and leave, if he wants to have a shot at avoiding jail.
And the best bit? The whole reason there is a Mueller investigation in the first place is because he fired Comey. And the whole reason there was a Comey investigation in the first place, is because he decided to run for president, and by so doing, put all his shady dealings (both before the campaign and during it) under the magnifying glass.
All of his misfortunes are entirely of his own making, but being the deeply flawed individual he is, he couldn't have done any differently. It's like watching a greek tragedy play out in real time. He acted the only way his nature would allow, and now he is trapped in a hell of his own making, as a direct result of those actions.
I almost hope the Mueller investigation takes longer. I know it's probably better if he is removed as quickly as possible, before he can do any more lasting damage, but there is a small and petty part of me that is really enjoying watching him squirming and trapped, hating how it all turned out so sour, after he made Faustian bargain after bargain, to get the presidency he thought he wanted.

Do psychologists have a name for that?

Some non-medical professionals have labelled that as:  "snowflake".
