The Great Gun Control Debate- 2.0

I love the way the RCMP approved a number of rifles and shotguns post ban and approved the FRTs. "Yeah, we're taking your AR-15, but there are these new ones, that we have approved, so you can buy something as a replacement for your AR."

"Everyone got their approved replacements? Good, we're confiscating those now also."

Just more fuckery for the most law abiding and vetted Canadian citizens. And the RCMP can't figure out why they are no longer trusted by, and looked at as hostile to, Canadians. Lackeys of a corrupt and criminal government.

Fear not. This will be all words and no action. And it will all be cleaned away by the CPC.
I spoke to my CPC MP about this when he was at my gun club for an event two months ago. He says "eventually". It's not going to be a priority, given all the other things they have to fix but it will get done.

They haven't confiscated shit and they won't because they can't.

What they are hoping to do is kill the industry which is the primary objective of these laws. They are making it so bureaucratic and difficult to run that the Industry will implode.

It's death by a thousand cuts.

Look at Black Creek Labs. That is a small Canadian Company who makes some pretty nice little rifles. Big Bad Govt coming after them.

Face the facts, we live in a socialist nanny state.

I doubt they act right away. They know that any repeal of the OIC will open them up to attack.

Do it for Ukraine!

If not you're a Russian sympathizer.

Defence Minister Bill Blair said some of the guns the government plans to collect will be sent to Ukraine as part of Canada's ongoing donations of military aid to that country.
"The Department of National Defence will begin working with the Canadian companies that have weapons that Ukraine needs … in order to get these weapons out of Canada and into the hands of the Ukrainians," he said.

Henry Homesteader escapes detection.... wood furniture for all!

(I believe it was only released in Canada a few weeks ago, this list has been canned waiting for today for a while)

Oh I think they could do it fairly quickly if they wanted to. But it makes sense to be non committal both publicly and privately until after the election.
And yes, there is a lot to fix starting with spending. Reversing or altering these bans costs the public purse close to nothing.
I reckon an OIC undoing the fuckery by the LPC and their associated anti firearms people might happen.

While the CPC is at it when they shut down the anti gunners give them this book to read:
