Sadly, but fortunately for me, I did score a really good deal on a CZ Shadow 2 from a co-worker facing exactly that scenario with his 9'erD shortly after the handgun ban was announced but before it too effect. I'd been vacillating on buying it. His 9'erD said "sell it before it get seized". Mine said "buy it at the pre-ban agreed upon price". So, I did. The retail price doubled shortly after that.

I sold 2 Bushmaster ACRs for $2500ish each to fund another projectjust before the ban. When they somehow miraculously got missed in the ban their net worth seems to have shot up to the $6000-$8000 range.

I'm glad the police are pushing back hard against virtue signaling gun policy.

Licensed gun owners are one of the most law abiding groups in the country, targeting them is not going to stop crimes.

Well, since Chinese state attacks on Canadian government or Indian government violence in Canada didn’t distract from Trudeau’s imminent electoral toilet flush, the LPC strategy brain trust figured it was time to roll out the evils of guns in the hands of….er, law abiding rule complying citizens…

Don’t worry some provinces are already proposing long knife, sword, machete, etc. bans because magically crime didn’t disappear when guns were banned.

I propose we get rid of the common denominator myself, it’s not like we don’t know whose causing most these issues and we don’t have records of their wrong doings.

I think there's a whole lot more that we can put on the table for consideration. Stuff like suppressors, high cap mags, prohibition by name and looks. A whole hockey sock of stuff.

Personally I think we should also ban Mountain biking, after all "No one needs to mountain bike" Plus think of the lives and injuries we will save , plus the medical extractions and harm to the environment.
