I'm too cynical about the CAF/GoC to believe it's a happy coincidence. Particularly given the direction to get back to the office 5 days a week came at about the same time as the economic increase, and the EI came about just as PSAC was making serious noise about a strike.I doubt it was that intentional, just that the decision makers love 'rules of thumb' and context seems impossible. We managed fine for 2 years by doing what worked at the supervisor level for your specific circumstances no problem, and the 'one size fits no one' TBS policy actively torpedo'd some light in our HR tunnel to actually hire people from out of area who had the specialist skills to do the SME jobs.
Based on past practice, if a CAF increase lags behind what comparator PS groups receive, there will be a further increase to ensure the CAF maintains at least parity in increases.I doubt it.

I'll buy you a pint of James Ready 6.0 if you're right.

Hardly. I’ve had enough exposure to the east coast to know how much I like what comes out of there. Next time I’m out in that area I’ll let you know. You're not turing your Upper Canadian nose up at my James Ready are you ?
I’ve never been able to not find it. I just can never remember where I specifically get the pizza from…If we are in a state to find Pizza Corner, then yes
I can't find it sober... Lived in Halifax for two years, and only ever got there when I was out with friends after a night on the town.I’ve never been able to not find it. I just can never remember where I specifically get the pizza from…

Its like Bubba's in KTown. Last week I had a slice for lunch. Who knew they were open other than at 0200, or that the pizza is edible when sober?I can't find it sober... Lived in Halifax for two years, and only ever got there when I was out with friends after a night on the town.

Are you sure you are in the CAF? Also, if something hasn't happened before (or more than monthly) we're safe to assume it won't happen ever.Look, a data set where N=1 isn't persuasive.

Edit: Unless it's a good thing that's really unlikely but happened once (or almost happened, or I knew a guy whose cousin it happened to), then it's our primary COA.
