Not sure who you're talking to, but the only people I know with wings around are either got them before they joined (with the reserves) or there took a jump course in the states when they did the exchange with USAFA.
Good luck though! I've got a whole summer of OJE somewhere... 2IC Coffee Maker...
Ditto what other people have said so far. We learned/relearned a lot of important lessons at Dieppe.
Midway through the article, the author makes the statement:
"The gradual pull-away of Canada from the U.K. orbit would have proceeded anyway, so Canadian war enthusiasm would have been slowly...
I think it will be interesting to see if an Air Force RMC grad will do things substantially differently around here or not.
It was nice to hear that they had named someone though. Now onto parade practice for change of command parade...
I didn't go through all those T-Nation links, but one of the biggest shoulder injury prevention tips I've picked up is 'active shoulders'. ie/ for the overhead squats, consciously push up on the bar. I didn't know this for my first few encounters with them and tweaked a nerve or something...
I ran into someone in Alert last summer who did exactly that.
It is possible, but I don't personally know the mechanics of it.
This is also why people should avoid arts degrees ;) (surprised no one got that in already...)
Ditto what paracowboy said, here are a few links I have in my bookmarks wrt bodyweight exercises and routines.
A couple of interesting bodyweight routines can be found here:

A whole lot more links can be found here as well...
You will get thrown into the pit of fire. No failing!!
just kidding..
What kind of course is this? Is it a pre req for other courses? People on this board might be able to point you in the direction to some helpful material.
I've heard of people around here (RMC) taking courses by...
I wonder if any of the academics are for the mission?
I would be pretty disappointing for a university like UNB to present something like this without even trying to present both sides of the story
I'm no lawyer, but I think the point that's trying to be made is, as far as the law is concerned, it's hearsay. Unless of course you have some kind of signed statement from the person in question. And even that probably wouldn't stand up, unless a lawyer was involved.
I don't have any first hand experience with arty, so I can't say for sure. I imagine it depends on what the CF needs, then what you want to do.
I know for CELE, we do our training after graduation. Whoever gets top marks on the course, gets first choice of posting, and so on down the line, The...
I don't know. How new is this whole 'Warrior/RFT platoon'? I personally don't remember hearing about it when I was at CFLRS (summers of 2004 and 2005).
There were a couple of people on my IAP platoon who failed the beep test miserably, but they just stayed in the platoon and took the test over...
Sorry for the misunderstanding, didn't mean to imply rugby got shut down due to poor results.
My point was that we just got rugby back, and if we were to bring in football I doubt we would be able to man both teams properly.
haha, exactly.
The point Frederik G here is trying to make is that RMC has a bit of trouble fielding competitive varsity programs. We just don't have the numbers to choose from.
We just got varsity rugby back after it being shut down for a few years. How practical would it be to have varsity...
A lot of the questions you're asking sound like the things I was worried about when going in. I worried about the little details, like computers, holidays, etc. One of the biggest things I've learned at the college over the past two and a half years is that a lot of it doesn't really matter...
Ditto. I know they're pushing crossfit on CAP for the army types. I've been going at it off and on for awhile.
It provides great workout, really quick. A lot of the workouts are pretty simple too, and require little to no equipment(cindy and kelly are a couple of my favourites). The only word of...
