Received the call the day of my graduation in June and I'm off to St.Jeans for BMQ on Sept.12th  :salute: ...days are going soooo slow now :(

I'm going to St.Jeans for BMQ on Sept.12th as well. I was wondering the same thing as Futuretrooper concerning whether to buy the things on the list or wait until I am in St.Jeans. :salute:

What I mean is .. Once BMQ is finished do you go immediately into SQ or do you get any days off in between?

Just a quick question. Did a search but found nothing. Between BMQ and SQ, and SQ and Battleschool/Moc Training (whatever the correct term for it is), do you get any time off inbetween? This is also for regular forces infantry. Thanks  :salute:

Thanks Mike. Theres a perimeter going around the town I live in and it's about 2-3km round. Just need to find the right kind of pack to use. I highly doubt my school bag will last long lol. What kind of bag would I use? One of those hiking/camping packs? I don't have one but I imagine I could...

About how much weight should I be carrying?

Thanks guys, another question. Would it also be benefitial to start running with the extra weight? Also, is there anything specific I can buy or do to do so? I tried it out the other day but with the backpack its not on very firm so unless I ran the entire distance with my hands behind my back...

The difference there is that I'm there by my choice. It's not that I can't handle being told what to do, I never said that. Hell, sometimes I even prefer it. There are just some issues between my parents and I and I really don't feel there is a need to share them over the net. It doesn't matter...

I understand that, while this may make me sound rather impatient, you have no idea how badly I want into the forces and be free of them or anyone else. If it is possible for me to complete my gr.12 in the army after enrollment, I may go that route.
