Yeah, Loring AFB was closed and the city of Limestone pretty much dried up. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service that's housed at Loring got the axe in this round as well. The only gain Maine gets is the Air National Guard Station at BIA. 240 jobs are going there.

I was surprised to a degree to see that Portsmouth wound up on the chopping block. Its loss will hammer both Maine and New Hampshire. BNAS won't be the same either. It's really too bad.
