You Vs a Collection Agency

I got it all straightened out.  I just asked to speak to his supervisor, and I had a fax within 15 minutes.

GO see the financial counsellor at SISIP. The one here in Greenwood is a shark when it comes to dealing with collection agencies and they may even help you out with a loan if need be to clear things up.

mover... ya have to be in the CF before that option becomes open to you.

Glad that worked out for you :), I have run into another wall with someone not able or willing to send out official correspondence, However they were a bit more responsive to my needs and after explaining the situation and why I needed such correspondence the agent agreed to confirming such things through email which would also be cc'd to the MCC. I hope this is satisfactory, when I called the CFRC regarding it the answer was pretty much ' we will have to see it and go from there'. Which is understandable.

That is what I ran into the past few times as well.  Telling me that employers have no need for that information, and that it's illegal for them to give that information to an employer.  When I finally got to talk to somebody else today, they didn't even know what to put on it.  Sounded like they had never sent anything out in the past.  Anyways, it's all taken care, and hopefully I can get that paid off before I start BMQ, along with a couple other minor debts (that didn't impact my record).  Thanks for the heads-up about Wells Fargo.  I owe them some money too, lol.
