It looks like running from a fight. He’d square off with ‘Dementia Joe’, but not Kamala Harris. Not sure that will play super well. The democrats definitely can capitalize on that, and are already beginning to.

Where does it say he won't debate? It looks more like he's waiting for them to unfuck themselves. What article have you got saying his message isn't aging well? Or is this all your personal opinion. Not looking for a fight, just want to read it myself, including the source.
If you read their statement on Barrack Obama waiting for someone better that seems to be way off now that he has endorsed her. They posted that a few hours before the endorsement.
So I assume the conditions to debate are now met. Should be an easy enough statement to correct.
I posted the Trump campaign’s release. The debate was already scheduled for September 10th, so a claim that ‘it would be inappropriate to schedule things’ is a de facto reneg. The Democrats have in no way signalled that whoever they nominate would not be committed to the existing debate schedule Trump agreed on.

“I won’t run in 2028” doesn’t mean that people won’t vote anymore. They just won’t vote for him.
Either way, even with that context, his direct quote doesn’t seem to line with that assumption. If he had said “…vote for me anymore” that’s one thing, but he didn’t say that. Repeatedly.
So either he misspoke, in which case I expect to see a correction, or he’s being serious.
He’s missspeaking I think. Just recently he was confusing Harris with Haley in one of long speeches.
Those concerned with Biden’s cognitive abilities don’t seem too worried with Trump’s now that he is the oldest candidate to run for President.
