I now work with several lawyers on a regular basis in an "adversarial" role, and I have to admit - most of them are quite down to earth, professional, pleasant people who do their best to work their way around the laws & loop-holes, as they are paid to do.

You know that you live in a new age of politics when the president and the porn star is a non issue.

Trump had a consensual affair, 10+ years ago, between two adults and no connection to politics or the White House.

He was not POTUS then so the President and Porn Star moniker, rightfully and unreservedly belongs on Slick Willy, where the phrase originated.

Clinton, then sitting POTUS, received at minimum, oral sex on more than one occasion, in the Oval Office, from an intern. He abused his superior rank on a coerced subordinate to obtain sexual dominance and favours. Oh, and let's not forget that cigar tube. Never mind all his other affairs while POTUS and Senator.

The piling on of the former, by an Obama lawyer of the Democratic party for something that is no ones business, except Trump and his family, is woefully laughable and willfully and knowingly ignorant of the latter's sexual offences and the total manipulation of the American moral and political scene by Slick Willie and his team, shows the desperation of the democrats' character assassins.

Just another bitter, spiteful phony excuse, by the DNC, to try malign Trump. They are running out of false narratives.


Off topic slightly.

I have the feeling we're going to see a 180 degree flip in things soon. The GOP is getting into the driver's seat and we are going to be seeing an epic clash and lots of prosecutions when all these democrats, from Obama down, start receiving subpoenas to appear in front of House and Senate Committees. I'll hazard a guess and say that there are well over a thousand seal indictments ready to be delivered.

What he said, was inflammatory only to some. Many others simply took it as a statement of how strong he was saying his support was. Tempest in an expresso cup.

Could he have used different words? Sure. No matter what he said there will still be those those that scream at the sky what a terrible thing. EVERY politician says stupid stuff. Like our gender twisting grit government in Ontario, calling Doctors and nurses eye candy in a televised press conference.

"The GOP is getting into the driver's seat ..."  They have had the majority in both the Senate and the House since 2015 - three years ago! And the presidency on top of that for one year now. That's not "getting" in the driver's seat: They have been there for three years.

Cm'on, man! If they had them in those Committees, controlled by the GOP for three years, and now one year into the "protection" of a GOP president, they would have been out and served and would be the leading topic of every newspaper/news org - including CNN and Fox - out there - and all over the internet.

I think the connection is whether or not the hush money was an undeclared campaign expense or not.

The affairs themselves are essentially non issues.  They are basically normal tabloid stuff like about Kennedy and his many affairs etc.  The media will keep with it because it gets viewers and ratings.  No one is going to go after him for the affairs except maybe his wife.

In news from eight years ago that appears to be from some alternate reality, Obama left the White House and went out for a local bite to eat with vice president and BFF Joe Biden in May. The two politicians ordered hamburgers, MSNBC journalist Andrea Mitchell reported at the time, with the sitting president requesting mustard on his red meat.

The story was featured on Sean Hannity's show, Hannity's America, as a screen showed a photoshopped image of Obama surrounded by bottles of mustard with the words "PRESIDENT POUPON" plastered on a red and white banner.
