The FBI was portrayed as caving under that pressure, and making decisions for political rather than law enforcement purposes. Nothing was further from the truth.
Democratic groups allied with Hillary Clinton poured money into the state senate campaign of McCabe's wife while the FBI was investigating Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of state, thus buying improperly soft treatment from the bureau.

The man was retiring Sunday.kkwd said:There have been 19 FBI employees terminated the past year for lack of candor. Is Andrew McCabe any different from these people? Lack of candor is a serious offense. If anyone suggests that President Trump influenced the Inspector General to find McCabe lied under oath and then further to sway the Office Of Professional Responsibility then they should bring the evidence forward to the proper authorities. Feelings don't count in this one. Just because you think it doesn't mean it's true.

Here is the statement issued by Sessions:
After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).
The FBI’s OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the dismissal of Mr. McCabe. Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor − including under oath − on multiple occasions.
The FBI expects every employee to adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and accountability. As the OPR proposal stated, ‘all FBI employees know that lacking candor under oath results in dismissal and that our integrity is our brand.’
Pursuant to Department Order 1202, and based on the report of the Inspector General, the findings of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility, and the recommendation of the Department’s senior career official, I have terminated the employment of Andrew McCabe effective immediately.”

All I found was this,
https://twitter.com/JakeBGibson/status/974842486815444992
If true,
2. How many were investigating the Russians?
3. How many were objects of POTUS ire? Asked who they voted for? Called their wives losers?
4. Did POTUS tweet about any of them before firing, and take a victory lap on Twitter immediately after?
5. How many were fired at 10 PM on a Friday night, 26 hours before retirement?
6. The report documenting McCabe’s alleged misconduct was not made public. Instead, Sessions released a statement with vague assertions of wrongdoing.
7. The only relevant known fact is that McCabe is a key witness against POTUS.

Former CIA Director (2013-17) John O. Brennan had this to say,
"When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America...America will triumph over you."

There’s a storm gathering, Mr. President, and it’s going to wipe out you and your corrupt organization all the way down to the studs.
