IMO, I think the entire West is trending politically towards Fascism in response to the effects of globalization, poor economic performance, culture & class struggle, and mass immigration.

I think the Americans are closer towards a Fascist Government than we are but we aren't as far behind as we think we are. What that Fascism will look like will be similar to what happened in Italy in the 1920s and 1930s and will occur in phases.
