I'd take this with a grain of salt but one never knows
Whoever made that chart must have had a stroke part way through lmao

There was but the Ukrainians had never attacked with a Force larger than a Battalion so the size of the Force defending the area wasn't sufficient. The number of Ukrainian Brigades involved appears to be at least six.Is there actually a Russian MDL anywhere other than in Ukraine? Did the Russians get so over confident that they forgot that border incursions can be a two way street? Serious question.
Why fortify if this is a raid? I wonder if they're trying to suck in Russian reserves for a border incursion elsewhere? I've seen some milbloggers talking about troop build ups near Chernihiv and near Kharkiv. Both border major supply hubs; Gomel, Belarus and Belgorod respectively. Makes one wonder.
Cavalry works! Now if only we had the kit to do the tactics properly lol
As God intended. Cavalryman are far too posh to use a bayonet, it's gets too close to the unclean enemy crunchy. Swords or lances are preferred.
Some interesting tidbits. Sudznha just happens to be home to a gas distribution site that supplies all of Europe with Russian gas. So perhaps this is the objective? Hold it and then use it as leverage in the inevitable negotiation. Maybe also grab Kursk NPP and do a trade for Enerhodar?
Lord Cardigan agrees!
Some might use another adjective for him…Good ole Lord Cardigan, terrible general by all accounts but brave as hell at Balaclava.
I'd agree with that assessment haha.
The top right is supposed to be "Field Generals". They don't want to do the offensive, they'd rather be laying back, so when they get the orders, you best believe they will find the fastest and most violent way to make it happen.
Well his troops were brave..Good ole Lord Cardigan, terrible general by all accounts but brave as hell at Balaclava.
He was found to be deficient in competence. Not bravery.Well his troops were brave..
Addendum: Its actually a Mi-28 Havoc being taken down by the FPV drone not a Ka-52.The Daily Kos has a collection of the reports on the Ukrainian Kursk operation, including a video of a FPV drone taking out a KA-52 attack helicopter. Also, reporting that UAF Special Forces conducted a raid on Crimea destroying Russian equipment which hasn't been confirmed by other sources. Almost forgot: two videos supposed showing our favourite TikTok soldiers in action
Russian stuff blowing up: Ukraine pushes deeper into Russia's Kursk region
Ukraine continues to advance rapidly in the Kursk area of Russia and, according to Russian bloggers, has taken control of 11 villages. Ukraine’s 22nd Brigade and the Georgian Legion are in the vanguard of this operation. There are reports that the...www.dailykos.com
I dint think the power plant is the objective. In the same town is Prison camp No. 8, a known Russian PoW camp. Fairly big one to, if Ukraine could liberated it, it would be a big win.Lord Cardigan agrees!
My gut tells me they’ll BIP the gas distribution system, since apparently they legally (Intl Law) cannot destroy the gas pipeline within Ukranian territory. KNPP for ZNPP horse trade also not out of the question.
