I'm not sure that many people actually understand when the different uniforms are supposed to be worn. For example, doing a Remembrance Day parade with everyone in cadpat. Can we all say "work dress" together?

Uh, unless you're in an operation, why?For example, doing a Remembrance Day parade with everyone in cadpat.
Because the LCol wants to look “hard” in public?Uh, unless you're in an operation, why?
No. It sucked. You call it work dress but in the field units if you don't look like a shiny new penny wearing it, you're for the high jump, boyo. In Lahr we wore it to morning roll call, hung it up in our lockers and put coveralls on over pt kit, changed back at lunch, then again to go home. It was a giant pecker pull.Yes.....the plastic material was awful though.
If it was just made from some decent cotton/blended stuff it would probably be fine IMHO.

You could have replaced "RAF" with "RCAF" and it would read pretty much perfectly.TPL has spoken
Chocks Away Team - The New RAF Uniform Debate
In a week when attention focused on how much the UK was spending on enhancing the MOD military capability in space (approx. £1.4bn), the RAF seemed determined to take it one step further and create uniforms for their ‘away team’. Leaked slides have put forward proposals that show a new look RAF uniform that looks more ‘Galaxy Quest’ than modern military.
Naturally these proposals have drawn the ire of veterans, and some serving personnel, who ridicule the concepts under consideration and generated reams of media coverage. But is this proposed change actually a bad thing?

It was so everyone would match because the brand new cornflakes recently sworn in didn't have DEU yet.Uh, unless you're in an operation, why?
