I always found that when I was away on course, all I wanted to do when I was there was to go home. The minute I got home, all I wanted to do is be back on course with my friends because I missed the camaraderie and esprit de corps that we had throughout the time together.

Well this is just me, but when I travel and get home sick I try not to think of good times cause that makes me miss home even more so I think of the bad times and the things that tend to piss me off so I think that I don‘t miss it that much

In my 20 years of Regular service I have completed 4 rotations overseas and have spent countless days away on ex. Of the 15 years that I have been married, my says I have only been home for 8. I find that the harder I try to stay focused on the mission or task the faster time flies.
