securing brassards to CADPAT uniform?

Hi all:
I'm curious:  how do soldier secure brassards to the CADPAT uniform since the shoulder straps have been removed?

I haven't seen anyone wear one with the CADPAT before, but canadian peacekeeper made one,looks like the top of the brassard connects to the velcro under the flap on the left arm.

ive seen it done for ISAF bages they seem to just use a plain one and attach it by butting the loop through the flap and velcroing it

Mabye some one who wore one or wears on could answer better
