I was wondering if someone could help me out. I was having some 'discomfort' after doing some heavy lifting at work. I went and saw a doctor, and he said I prolly just got this very common muscle strain which is a common injury for hockey players and results when you lift heavy objects with your legs spread apart. Anywho, I was worried that I might have developed a hernia but he said he couldn't feel anything wrong (hence he believed it was a muscle strain). Anyways, just to be safe, we did a ultrasound and it said that I have a Right Femoral Hernia, but they said it was nothing major and probably wouldn't bother me. I've done lifting since (keeping those legs together and being careful to lift properly) and haven't had any problems. I can run just fine, I jog daily. I can pull 30 pushups and situps and not even strain myself. Will this bar me from entry into the CF? I'm really worried. I don't believe it will affect me, but I'm afraid to tell the Medical Examiner what I've got, since I could just ignore it otherwise. Is there any suggestions on what would be best for me to do? I'd really greatly appreciate any help, thanks.
