Battery Flashes of World War II by D. W. Falconer is available at the University of Calgary library - the Public Library may also have it, as might the Glenbow Archives.

I can add to CDJM‘s info - the 2nd Anti-Tank Regiment RCA mobilized as serial 170 under General Order 135/39 on the 1st of September 1939. The Regiment comprised Headquarters serial 170A, 18th AT Battery serial 170B from Regina, 20th AT Battery serial 170C from Lethbridge, 108th AT Battery serial 170D from Kimberley BC and 23rd AT Battery serial 170E from Calgary.

The Regiment arrived overseas on 4 September 1940 with the 2nd Div - not sure why Nicholson would say 1943.

The 2nd AT Regt landed in Normandy in July 1944, saw much action around Falaise, and entered Dieppe with the Division on 3 September 1944. They returned to action, fought until war‘s end, and disbanded under General Order 52/46 effective 23 September 1945
