Hey guys i have been reading the posts on this site for awhile and figured id make an account.

Anyways i want to join the CF as a ACISS and i went to the recruiters office and he said that i should do some volunteering to make myself competitive.  What do you guys recommend i volunteer for?

And anything Else i should do to improve my value to the CF?

I'd volunteer with something that you're interested in. Like a sport? Volunteer for kids sports league. Any sort of volunteer work is going to look good, so find something you'll actually enjoy doing.

1)  Learn to capitalize "I" and pay attention to spelling/grammar - apart from you not being e.e. cummings, here's some good reasons:

2)  You say you've been "reading the posts on this site awhile" - there's an awful lot about ACISS here on the threads

Good luck.

I just enlisted as a future ACISS. My volunteer experience was as a hockey goalie coach, and apart from that, only extra-curriculars at my high school. I would say just volunteer for something you find interesting or meaningful, it'll all look good in the end.

Any volunteering is a good thing, I volunteer with the Humane Society and Animal Rescue. They have nothing to do with sports or fitness, but animals are my passion.
