(now there's a thug to hug) says the Canadian Air Force does not need C-17 strategic airlifters. But, since the government is buying them anyway, Quebec should get its fair share of industrial offsets--a "big issue"

Where's the pork then? What is the issue?

Such a person as national defence critic for the Official Opposition means the Liberals are not a serious party.

Well no one can say the liberals aren't consistant. They are consistently looking out only for themselves, attacking anything in order to try and earn a scrap of political currency.

Actually Mark, I think this means the Liberals believe that we are not a serious people, and will easily be swayed by lies contra historical assertations rather than the facts.

Sadly, I think they are right

Good one, Mark!

You used "Liberal," "principles" and "consistency" in the same sentence!!!

ROFL!

Ahoy HMS Warspite, (heheheh)

If you think about it, this last statement applies to most, if not all politicians, regardless of what political party or ideology they ascribe to (or claim to ascribe to). But of course, that's a given, as most of you would say.

The important thing is Quebec is "Entitled" to more contracts and subcontracts because it's "Quebec" and traditionally the Liberals have bent, or is that double over, backwards to "Appease" Quebec.  I'm still fence sitting on Harper and the Cons visa vie Quebec.
