I applied online on May 26th and two days later I got this email

"Thank you for your employment application to the Canadian Armed Forces. Your application has been selected for further processing. Please contact the Canadian Forces Recruiting Detachment Vancouver within 30 days of the receipt of this email by calling 1-800-856-8488 to arrange for an appointment for your initial processing.
There are several items which you will be required to have with you on the first visit, as follows:
1. Proof of age (birth certificate)
2. Proof of citizenship (if required)
3. Educational transcripts
Failure to provide these documents may preclude you from the opportunity to undertake the initial processing."

I called them and they said email them your name and DOB at appointments.vancouver@forces.gc.ca and its more than 2 weeks, I didnt got a call or anything. I need to know if I need to send required documents through email or not? or they'll call me and set me up for appointment and then I need to bring all the documents. Help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

When I applied online, i hadn't received any news after sending my paper by mail, so I emailed them and they told me :

your application got frozzen and was close
you need to reaply at www.forces.ca
i already got everything started so as soon as you apply you will get a e-mail

I would bet that they they throwed my paper in the dumpster because they ask you to bring them at your CFAT, so don't waste your time sending them anything. If i were you I would wait a bit and reapply online.

So long as you followed the instructions provided above, which was to email them your "full" name (ie; the one you used on your original application) and your DOB, I am sure they will get back to you shortly.  The documents noted above are to be brought with your to your local CFRC on the day they schedule you to write the CFAT/TSD, so there is no need to send them anything at this point in time.

This is the worst advice you can ever follow!  If you reapply again online, chances are your file will be moved to the bottom of the pile.  Applications are generally processed based on the date you apply.  So if you keep "re-applying", the only thing you achieve is moving your file back to the bottom of the pile.

If you have not received a date to write your CFAT/TSD 30-days after emailing them with your information, then give them a call or email them again requesting an update.

Relaying personal experience is fine.  Offering opinions and advice, without appropriate EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE, is not.  This is a common theme around here, and consider this your freebie.
