Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know I have my CFAT on Thursday at 9:15am at the CFRC Ottawa.
Not that anyone cares , but I took the test last November and bombed the math part of it.
I really wish I had found this site before Nov. because of all the usefull information I have come across. Everyone on here is great.
I haven't posted much, spending most of my time on here soaking up as much stuff as I can.
I actually booked a week off work to come and stay at a family members house who is really good at math. I spend all day, everyday just eating, studying (division, fractions, verbal, spatial ability...) 6 hours each day and doing PT and getting into a solid schedule.
When the career counsellor told me I had passed, but not enough for my trade, it felt like a military boot kick in the balls. The worst feeling in the world.
Family members and friends keep saying, "Don't worry if you don't pass again, you'll find something else to do."
They don't understand.
This is the only thing I want to do. Being Canadian is so much more then paying your taxes on time, being a good citizen and having everything handed to you.
Anyways, just wanted to say thanks to all of you and I really look forward to joining the ranks.
Cheers,
Chaz
