Police can arrest and clear if it’s not. Much whining and gnashing of teeth by the protesters has ensued. It remains to be seen how this will play out tomorrow.

The "your people" stuff is never a good look, you don't have to like or agree with the guy but you have to remember, he's bound to be emotionally charged regardless, it's his people dying not yours. The gloating and attacking his national origins is the same intellectual exercise that's being used to paint all Jews negatively lately. Perhaps I can empathize being of Ukrainian origin. Please be civil gentlemen. Attacks ideas, not people.

And while not mine, some of us here had ‘our people’ die because of asshole people being dealt with, so it’s not just a bunch of comfy folks armchair bitching about places they’ve never been…

Those types of people would protest literally anything. The support you see for gaza in Canada is all theatre.
