Hey guys.I wrote my CFAT on last thursday and I qulified for all trades which is great since I want to be a combat engineer after high school when I go Reg. force.I'm going Infantry(reserve force) now through.I was just wondering how other people made out when they did their CFAT's?

They didn't tell me what trades I qualified for when I wrote my CFAT.  But I was applying for pilot and my mark was acceptable for that, so I would assume I qualify for many other trades as well.  My mark was 'OK', but I hoped for better :p

Also, I predict this thread being locked just because theres a huge CFAT thread here someplace and they want to keep the CFAT discussion together I assume.

So instead of you entering your experience, then predicting a lock, you could have used the 'Report to Moderator' button, stayed silent and then made your comments in the correct forum after the move? ::)

When I wrote my CFAT they just told me I qualified for the trade I wanted. They didn't tell me how well I did on it, and I didn't really care seeing as how I passed.

I received a sheet back after my CFAT with all the trades that I was eligable for. LCIS tech, sig op, lineman were there so I didnt take notice to much else.

hmm yah thats weird how different cfrc do it things differently... i think its only fair to do the same for everything.
for an example, i couldnt find out any of my results except for the fact that i passed. now it doesnt bother me that much
however curiosity comes into play and i want to see what trades i can go into.

yoon,

I just did my CFAT today, and it went really well.  I wasn't told a specific mark, but when I asked if I had a sufficient score for my desired trade (R291) I was told that I did very well and could have chosen any trade.  I'm just glad it's done.  :)

I qualified for all trades as well. The test seemed alot of harder than it was, then again I'v seen people fail it a couple of times.

Mine is on March 14th which is pretty good considering I dropped off my application on Feb. 27th. The Private from the recruiting center called me just the other day to schedule it. Everything was full for this week so I had to wait till next. Oh well, it'll give me some extra time to prepare.

I did my CFAT today.
I qualified for all my MOC's of choice :)
Though my primary goal was to obtain a mark sufficient for infantry (which I am told is no challenge). Anyone who's working on an application into GGFG for the reserves, I'll see you in training! (Assuming I pass the medical/physical/interview). If I like it, I think one day I may decide to become an officer.  :cdn:

Ah too bad. I'm trying to find people who are trying the CEOTP route. Doesn't seem to be all that many around here except for pilots.
