Google Earth & Panjwai battlefield area

I just google earth'ed the Panjwai battlefield area and it sure gives a whole new degree of appreciation as to what our comrades are facing these days.

Found a road all blown to shite....covered in craters.....hate to be on that road.

Sorry about the delay in my response. 

As far as I can tell Panjwai Village is located at:

31 30' 58.43N  65 28' 35.29E

You will note that it is situated in the low ground between two large rock features.

thanks, the last time I went to this area was on the old Google Earth, the new version seems to have more place names. to bad it's right on the edge of the high resolution area. Still it gives you an idea of just how much the terrain favours the defender.
