Hi beautiful people, I hope you are all doing well. ;D
While I am still not near the date of joining the armed forces, I have been stalking and searching all possible specializations in the military in order to set myself a long-term goal because human beings are goal oriented people after all.
As awesome as it would be to be work towards being a sniper or part of a tank crew, I found myself more intrigued with combat engineers...till I found out about search and rescue technicians.
Excluding being of the required physical condition, I had a few questions about reaching the goal of a SAR-Tech or Combat Engineer.
1.How do I prepare for this from day 1 in the troops?
2.Do I emphasize it whenever the opportunity is present?
3.Does it comes off as flip flopping to be interested in two specializations?
4.In the case of SAR-Tech, why is it in the Air Force and not the army? (I can still join from the army after 4 years, right?)
Apologizes again in advance if I am posting in the wrong place, I feel like that Madonna song, like a virgin.... :camo:
