From RMS to HRA to FIN - HOW TO ARMY? QL6 / VOT/ StAR

Hi,

I am a reservist. I was trained RMS clerk and chose HRA when the trades split. I have my V/OT in progress for FIN. Can I go on a FIN trade QL6 course if I am still technically HRA??

last I checked the answer would be no - the FSA and HRA RQ courses are hard to get with plenty trying to get on them so they are only taking people that are within the trades.  Had to really scramble last year to get the VOT's for 2 of my staff completed in time so they could be course loaded.

Thanks for your reply. I submitted my VOT memo in March, it was signed Apr 24th. Do you think it should take much longer to complete? I know there are only four seats left on the course. Kinda in a scurry. Thanks

Also, anyone know if when I transfer I would have to relinquish my MCpl rank? Since I haven't had any trade specific training other than RMS QL3?? Thanks

You won't be keeping the leaf, you will be a Cpl again.
