From BMQ to BOTP Pt 2

Hi guys,

I'm a Res OCdt going from BMQ (done on weekends) to BOTP Part 2 this summer.  What is the focus or the difference between BMQ and BOTP?  Or CAP for that matter, which will be my next course.

In areas like PT, inspection, learning, field exercises?

I am currently the Course Officer on BOTP part 2 in Calgary.  The main POs are
Leadership and Principles of Leadership
Mission Analysis
Battle Procedure
Orders format
Small party tasking - putting into practice Mission Analysis, battle procedure and Orders format
Fieldcraft and Navigation

The course is 12 training days long.  We are doing it on weekends and there is no PT or inspections.  There is only 4 days of field, during which you do a day and night navigation.  You will learn basic fieldcraft, like field formations, putting up a 10 man tent and lighting the camp stove and lantern.
