I, and many others in my unit, are being forced to move out of our current building by both our COC & barrack warden because our current building is scheduled to be demolished this summer.
Are we entitled to any movement benefits for being forced to move locally?

I'm just curious, as I will now have to get things like my drivers license, vehicle registration, etc, renewed with the new address, which isn't free.

This is happening in CFB Petawawa.

Have you asked you chain of command this question? If so, what was the answer?

I found this in the QR&Os, so I think I found my answer.

Chapter 208 - Relocation Benefits
208.996 – Local Move of Household Goods and Effects
An officer or non-commissioned member who is not being released and who moves household goods and effects at their place of duty as a result of being ordered into, out of or between family housing is entitled to have the public move the household goods and effects and to be reimbursed other actual and reasonable costs associated with the move.

QR&Os: Volume VI - Appendix 4.1 Charges for Family Housing Regulations
"family housing" means,
in Canada, public quarters and Bulk Lease Housing Units the occupancy of which is controlled by Canadian military authorities, and
outside Canada, public quarters the occupancy of which is controlled by Canadian military authorities including, unless otherwise prescribed by the Minister, public quarters of another country occupied by an officer or non-commissioned member,

Start reading with Chapter 28 of the QR&Os, at http://www.forces.gc.ca/en/about-policies-standards-queens-regulations-orders-vol-01/ch-28.page

Then read DAOD 5024-0: http://www.forces.gc.ca/en/about-policies-standards-defence-admin-orders-directives-5000/5024-0.page

Then on a DWAN computer, look for the "DND Living Accommodation Instruction".  The only internet links I can find no longer function.

You left out a key phrase: - family housing "...does not include single quarters;" (http://www.forces.gc.ca/en/about-policies-standards-queens-regulations-orders-vol-04/appx-04-01.page)
