I understand your feelings of frustration towards me.  It is not my fault you are in the lower class...I might even say that I empathize with your social situation.  I did not "defect"; I simply chose another path, never forgetting my roots.  Of course I would show more empathy towards your plight, however, I am limited by moral bias, often referred to as the "similarity-familiarity bias", meaning that I would sympathize more with an engineer than I do with yourself because I am more familiar with his problems.
