I really like the quick march of the Irish Guards,St Patricks Day March - which sounds oddly like Gary Owen. :)

Garry Owen, one of my all time favorates.
Money Musk, The Regimental Double of The Queens Own Rifles of Canada.
Men of Harlech, the Regimental Slow March of The Welsh Guards. A strong tune, we used to sing iat school n the olden days.
The Regimental Quick March of The Irish Guards, is St. Patrick"s Day (circa 1749). It does sound like Garry Owen.

Great link, thanks. In the US Army the parades that I remember were done in column as opposed to the British affinity for the line abreast.

I have an affinity for this one...  ;D

Here are all of the Canadian infantry marches:

They're all good!

I may be a little biased, but I do like the March of the Cameron Men..

I'm quite partial to The Maple Leaf Forever... and I really like a version of British Grenadiers I heard that was mixed in with voice of the guns.

'Hey, can you guys play The Maple Leaf Forever?' - 'No Sir, our arms get tired after a while!'  :)

OK, even though it's not my Regiment, I will always have a tugged heart-string for the Colonel Bogey March

If you don't recognize the title, you should by 00:10 of the clip.

And if you still didn't recognize it, go rent Bridge on the River Kwai..... and know that there are a lot of Canadian soldiers, predominantly some Winnipeg boys who got to spend a few scant weeks at Hong Hong, in the Commonwealth War Cemetary (located coincidentally beside the current bridge at Kanchanaburi, Thailand).

Circus Battalion March Past..

March on the Clowns...!

Ray has a good site for Infantry Branch tunes.  "Sambre et Meuse" is especially good if you can get the British Light Division version - it's the assembly march done at Light Infantry quick time.

I like when the ( British ) Colonel gave the guys in hospital a little pep talk and had most of them limping along behind him to "do their bit" working on the bridge. That is leadership!
( Japan ) Col. Saito: "Be happy in your work!"

The "Great Escape" also had a great march:

Luftwaffe Colonel Luger: "It looks like you will see Berlin before I do."
( As he is being hustled into a car for the Russian Front, or worse, by the SS )

My wife and I have been attending the RCMI "Tunes of Glory:  Massed Military Band Spectacular" at Roy Thomson Hall for years. The M.C. is Henry Shannon. Mr. Shannon was the "morning man" on CFRB and also had a Sunday evening programme called "Men of Brass."
Mr. Shannon pointed out a rather depressing fact. I can't recall the exact statistic, but, he explained to us in the audience that the number of military bands in Canada had decreased at an alarming rate over the years.
