double forum images

I am noticing that when I come onto the forum I sometimes get both the old images and the new 'Army.ca Forum' image. Sometimes they overlap each other.  Is a cache problem? I do refresh my browser and it is still there.

Try CTRL-Refresh or Shift-Reload (IE and Firefox) as that forces a full reload from the server.

Well that is bizzarre indeed! Simply put, it shouldn't be happening! It seems though that odd variants of the code and images are cached at places along the Internet, and it causes issues at times.

Not sure there's much we can do but wait it out...

The same thing is happening to me. Usually its one pic above, and one below.

Could it be your computer. Old images stored In a  temp file somewhere. I am no computer genius But just a thought. Have you cleaned p all of your internet files recently?

I am quite confident the problem is not originating on my end, I looked. Like Mike said it will probably take some time to work itself out through the net.

I believe I finally found (and fixed) this issue, please let me know if it happens again. The "double" images showed up when visiting the forums main page, but not on others. (Or at least if they did show up on others, it wasn't my fault! )

Hmmmm... I wonder if it's a cache issue (for real this time)... Can you try Shift-Reload or CTRL-Refresh?

I tried that but it's still there.  Also now, I see it on the "Recent Unread Topics" page as well as the main page. 

It doesn't appear when I open up a topic, I only see the new version then.

What's a link when you see the double images? Do you always see it on the same page(s)?
