Royal Canadian Artillery School. I should have actually used RRCA - Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery.
Doh! That makes sense! Thank you.

I think we might be finding out soon enoughCan NATO stand on its own against Russia without the US?
I think so. particularly, the UK, France and Poland should be able to turn any Russian advances. The problem is nuclear weapons though. Time for the Baltics to start digging those trenches and laying those mines. Can NATO stand on its own against Russia without the US?
i dont see why not. Is Russia going to send a donkey division through Poland? Can NATO stand on its own against Russia without the US?
The biggest battle will be getting the TB to authorize danger pay.I think we might be finding out soon enough
Yes. And to not assume they wouldn’t actually enable our geo political rivals. The biggest battle will be getting the TB to authorize danger pay.
I feel like one of the lessons learned here for Europe,Canada, and many other countries is that it's time to stop trusting the US to be the world police.
The Saudi diplomats are probably sitting there like:Yes. And to not assume they wouldn’t actually enable our geo political rivals.
The US actually siding against the west wasn’t on anyone’s bingo cards. I can see why they didn’t want anyone else at these négociations
They should be realising that if is suited Trump to sacrifice them to get the Iranians in the US camp, it just might happen. The Saudi diplomats are probably sitting there like:

Is that a rumor Trump is talking about not supporting NATO countries post 1990 or is it an actual thing. The US actually siding against the west wasn’t on anyone’s bingo cards.
The real deciding factor would be the planes and the ships. Russia stands no chance in the air and the Russian Navy would be made reefs in days by the likes of the French or Royal Navy. I wonder how many serviceable land vehicles the Russian Army actually has left.not counting the Baltics/Balkans and Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czechia and Slovakia
European NATO has some
1000+ fighter jets
2000+ MBT
2500 +tracked IFV
2000 +tracked APC
1600 +wheeled IFV
2900 +wheeled APC
675 + tracked howitzers
350+ wheeled howitzers
how many of them are all ready to go?
another problem

It's not a matter of trusting, but the expectation the US will pay for it all the time. Trump is cutting things back to necessity, functionality, cutting massive waste and going for value for money. Whether departments and other fluff in the US government departments, but also foreign aid, etc. That unfortunately might include NATO. If the US is not getting value for their dollar, why pay it. Politics is running second to running his country as a successful, profitable business enabling better, more profitable shares for his citizens, the shareholders. This shouldn't surprise anyone. He ran his re-election campaign on these points. And just like last term, promises made, promises kept. We just weren't listening or paying attention. The American people and the homeland is his one and only priority. He can't be faulted for that. And the majority of US citizens, democrat and republican agree with what he is doing and how he is doing it. Those are the people he works for, not the EU, Mexico or Canada.
The world just got too comfortable, sitting back and waiting for the USA, to take care of whatever global problem came along. He sees no reason to support European countries that jails its citizens for calling someone gay or using the shit emoji on the internet. Vance put Europe on notice last week when he held a mirror up to them and hurt their feelings.

Well if this is accurate, we better get ready to step up, eastern europe is about to get a lot more dangerous.
Except for he is overrunning his headlights as he doesn't have a mandate to eliminate things Congress has mandated. If the Supreme Court had a pair they would kick him back down to the actual Constitutional powers of the Office. It's not a matter of trusting, but the expectation the US will pay for it all the time. His popularity is in freefall, as he is cutting a lot of things Americans depend on, and not making our lives any easier. His Oligarch buddy Musk is busy moving a lot of money towards his own companies, and reducing any oversight on his companies.Weather departments and other fluff in the US government departments, but also foreign aid, etc. That unfortunately might include NATO. Vance spoke at a Neo-Nazi rally (yes go look at the AfD platform). Then decided to lecture President Zelensky about not insulting 47's ego and how Ukraine was going to pay.The world just got too comfortable, sitting back and waiting for the USA, to take care of whatever global problem came along. Except it was all around the Pentagon - as was the massive cuts planned for DoD.Rumour and speculation designed to create tensions and further a favored narrative.
