and I know the Aurora gang is looking at doing something similar.   Would it not work better with a specialized aircraft?

The direction we are taking in regards to sensors, sensor use, comunications and tactical employement will alow us to do just that while remaining a multi-role platform.  Some form of stand-off weaponn for the CP-140 is not far off but nothing like a spectre.

A seperate aircraft would make our lives a little easier as we still have to carry out our traditional missions ( ASW, ASuW, NORPAT, MPAT , FISHPAT ......)
