Baton-wielding Pakistan police clash with lawyers

Now, I'm not a police officer, but wouldn't EVERYONE like to "clash" with lawyers, armed with Batons?  >:D
 
... and these lawyers were being attacked by the police for protesting the declaration of emergency rule and suspension of democracy.  Yep -- that sounds like a good reason to beat lawyers. 

Protecting democracy.... isn't that we say we are doing as soldiers?

Actually, in all seriousness, you are correct.  I guess I was feeding into the stereotype of the ambulance chasing lawyers and our prejudices against them.

+1 Mortarman. I guess Zipperhead Cop would agree to that as well. Hehehe...  ;D


But still...who said anything about being armed with JUST batons? hehehe...maybe they can use those nonlethal putty-shooting guns demonstrated for the US military in some documentary I saw, for riot control...
