Army issued waterproof socks vs Arcteryx Mattock Drysock LT

Anyone has experience with Arcteryx Mattock Drysock (Gore-tex sock)? I am thinking about get one for my summer training. I've heard the army issued gore-tex sock is as very cheap, but I personally did not have the chance to try issued one yet. Can someone comment on either one please?

I loved gortex socks on my SQ course. Other people had to use freezer bags.

I never had a problem with them.

Even if they do wear out you can get a new pair free of charge...

I've been eyeing the deadbird gore-tex socks for a while. If you get them let us know how they work out.

I will second these. I have beat the crap out of the rocky stretch Gortex socks and they have been nothing but good to me over the years.  I like the fit better than the army issued Gortex socks.

I personally really like the issued ones. I spent a whole day wading through swamps and my feet were bone dry after the day was done
