1/35 scale LAV-III test shots

Glad to help! Some of those leopard bits I mentioned had a lot of tech advice from a couple of LdSH(RC) tank comds (one a Leo C1A1, the other a C2 and 2A6M comd). I'd like to do one of the ex-NL Leos that will become 2A4+...but I think I will wait-out a couple years to see what they actually end up looking like once 202 wksp is done with them.

Yeah, I know the commander of the Leo 2A6M and it was a crew effort from what I was told to get the detailed photos in for them to be recreated.

As for 202 paint shop...sigh. They'll probably have to be fixed as soon as they arrive at the units.      :

Went to their site, and couldn't find a kit.  I will fire them an e-mail.

The ones you have were made by Resicast,

Yep - Resicast sold their molds to Elite. From what I gather, the Elite kits have the VW logo moulded on the grille, whereas the now out-of-production Resicast kit gave you an etched brass VW or Bombardier logo.

What M113 did we use, specifically around '90s, overseas.

I would love to build one of those.

Sorry if I sound like I am new to this, as I am, most of what I have been into was figure modeling, and very little of that as it is a new hobby for me.

I would like to scratch build a Husky complete with MDTs, but I have yet to find any good pictures taken at right angles. I regret not taking more pictures in theatre.

Great modelling like that seems to be a dying artform. I had to look close to make sure the ILTIS wasn't an actual one! I did a lot of armour in my day, still have some...worried that the glue is too old to pick them up anymore.  Keep up the good work.

I would love to build one of those.

You can get a pretty accurate Canadian M113 with a few aftermarket sets.

For the base kit, I would use the <a href="http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/aca/kit_aca_13211.shtml">Academy M113A3 kit</a>

And add to that a set of <a href="http://www.trackjam.com/hkcw/hkcwm113.htm">Diehl tracks</a>

You can get wire cutters, headlights, turnsignals and external fuel tanks from <a href="http://www.mapleleafmodels.com/">Maple Leaf Models</a> , but the owner has closed the shop while he moves. Speaking of MLM, the owner also maintains a discussion forum that caters to modellers who share an interest in Canadian AFV's:  <a href="http://www.network54.com/Forum/169232/">Modern Canadian Vehicles</a>

Hey GDawg, I have about 300 photos of the HUSKY, skinny wheel and fat wheel eras. What is an MDT?

I can email you the pics...except Trumpeter has listed a HUSKY as a future release. I'm waiting to see what theirs looks like before I scratch one.

As I said earlier, I started to get into scale models, again.  But when I say again, I am talking about 30 years ago since I built my last model!

I was planning mostly on figure models, but there are a few vehicles that I am interested in.

Ah, gotcha. I don't think there is a Husky, but you can get a Buffalo. I've seen it built up and it is a beautiful kit, but hugely expensive:
