Why do you want to know, so you can discredit whatever he says or make ad hominem attacks?
Voting for PP/CPC isn’t exactly the bastion of strength either. If you think this interview reflected positively on PP, great. From his comments at the end of the interview I think he knows he reached too...
Darn it, my bad. The wording got me hook, line, and sinker. Should have looked into it more.
So MPs get 3% accrual rate per year service and prior to 2016 it was payable at 55yo unreduced (65yo now)?
Interesting way of interpreting it, not sure the majority of the population would agree though. I think they might get some traction seeing he was eligible for a full pension at 31. I understand your point though, and would like to see some fiscal responsibility too.
Stupid question, where does the $5B figure come from? I remember the $300M in the DPU but haven’t seen anything else official. The first post seems like a click baity website.
PS- going on 10 yrs in Quebec City, from BC. Wouldn’t change a thing.
I understand that interpretation but think they’re just describing an opportunity that wasn’t commonly available before and increases options. The individual then gets to choose their preferred option, if motherhood isn’t chosen then the value proposition wasn’t persuasive enough or motherhood...
I think it’s way worse than that. There’s a way to explain Oct 7th without condoning it and sounding somewhat reasonable. He can’t even bring himself to pretend to do that, it’s reprehensible.

Interesting point you raise, I think you might have something there.
I wonder if it has the desired effect or just pisses off the EXs of the world. For example (but not limited to); I could see some GAC DGs and ADMs being mightily insulted by someone in uniform speaking up. Hope I’m wrong though.
Agreed, I don’t think they were reckless and went public without first advising/consulting higher. I just think they may not have been as receptive to feedback as their masters would have preferred/expected. Specifically, describing the Canadian public as “overly confident” and “naive” seems...
In a year-end interview Commander CJOC was quoted as saying Canadians are “overly comfortable”. Personally I find the comment to be very appropriate. However, I also wonder (similar to the recent CRCN video) if these comments were supported by DM, MND, PMO etc...
