My question is what are his peers and/or his chain of command doing about this matter, are they even aware. I'm not sure what the US DAG process is like, but in Canada this guy would DAG redder than red (meaning undeployable) for even the suggestion of suicide. I know his fellow soldiers...
I can only imagine how big this story would get if this guy was found entering the US from Canada. Our Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) did a great job catching this guy. It again shows that CBSA officers are on the frontlines and need to be armed.

The way I see this is a supply problem not an entitlement issue. If your taking your frustration with Veterans Affairs out on Cadets well thats just plain sad. Yes we're all impresssed your going to Afghanistan, get over yourself. People take themselves a little too seriously on this site...
