Invest in a discman or MP3 player thats what I did. Personally, I feel that if you can't push yourself without someone yelling or "encouraging" you then you need to re-evaluate your motivation. Not come across as harsh or anything....
Couple of questions here that I didn't see in the previous postings. I've been running for a couple of years and I've never had this happen before:
1) Recently when I hit the 5km mark on my runs I have been getting SHARP pains in my abs, not the runners cramps but just an overall front to back...
My guess the document resigning will be for you Advanced Security Clearance. They prolly cancelled yours when your file got closed (I know from experince). I just walked int CFRC they handed me the printed out form asked "did anything change?" I said "no" then signed. Whole proccess took...
Is it a for sure thing that there are going to be reservists heading to Afganistan?? A friend of a friend has told me that its a for sure thing that late this year LER is heading out.
Heres my story:
Got medical rejection closed my file

X4weeks cleared medical

HAD to redo the following:

Personally if it had cost money to go into cadets I would have never been in. The best thing about cadets is that noone, regardless of family income, can be excluded.
Kincanuks,
Pretty simple question here but please bear with me. When you are merit listed are you put on a merit list for all your trades? OR is your rating different for all the different ones. I.E. myself for example am going for Infantry, Crewman, Combat Eng. in that order. Does thast...
OK bear with me here... I'm probably not reading into this right but this list shows then that they are not accepting any more crewman, infantry or combat eng. (with no experince) till the new fiscal year correct? I don't really understand this list though:
is this what they are predicting...
Same here had my interview on monday and they said 031 closed till April 01 told me there is another board meeting for armour in 3 week of feb(?) and then there only taking 10 or so.... but I guess artillary is really looking for people
With me I was an ex smoker and I had a slight wheeze in my left lung. The medical stated that due to a possible need for further medication O would be rejected so I spoke to my doctor and he wrote me out a good letter of fitness and snet me for a PFS test and it came back great!
BTW thanks...
jUst wanted to let people Know that my medical finally came back and it got cleared! FYI i orginally applied on June 3 2004 and recieved a medical rejection for my lungs, went to my doctor had a PFS done and got cleared had my doctor write a note and It all came back excellent now! (Took 3 1/2...
I was in the same boat too. If you are an undischarged bankrupt it is looked upon as a legal obligation and will stop your application until you provide proof of your discharge. Also, if you don't tell recruiting they will find oput anyway when theydo your enhanced reliabilty check. All I had...
I agree that treadmills are easier than outdoor running. I've been a runner for the last few years and during the winter I find that I am not as easily tired out when running on a treadmill. A good way to change this (If you don't have access to an indoor track and your machine will let you do...
Thank you. I'll cut back on the running, been doing my running routine now for around a year and so far have had no major problems. As for the swimming my gym has a pool so I'll hit that a few times a week also. Kinda off topic I've heared that a person should not run over 45km a week anyone...
Kinda in regards to this (I hope this is the right area)...
I've been running 13km a day 5 days a week (6.5 morning 6.5 evening) ontop of weight training pushups(35) and situps(50). Am I going to run my self into the ground or this too be expected for training (reg. inf.). Also any good ideas...
