We regret to advise of the death of Warrant Officer Peter William McDonough, CD (Ret’d) at his home in Burton NB, on 9 December 2021 at age 62.
Peter was born in Minto NB and graduated from Minto Memorial High School. He served a full 35-year career in the Canadian Forces as a Combat Engineer with the Canadian Military Engineers. Peter served across Canada including with 2 Combat Engineer Regiment in Petawawa ON, 4 Engineer Support Regiment in Gagetown NB, and 8 Field Engineer Regiment in Edmonton AB. He also deployed on operations in Bosnia in 1994/1995 as part of United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR).
There will not be a visitation. A celebration of life will be held in the summer months of 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favourite charity. On line condolences can be sent to the funeral home.
