Can anyone assist me in on what all these short term meanings mean?  ???

stuff like

CFAT
BMQ-L
VR-ed

help would be greatly appreciated

CFAT - Canadian Forces Aptitude Test
BMQ-L - Basic Military Qualification - Land. AKA SQ - Soldier Qualification
VR-ed - Voluntarily Release(d)
