US 2022 National Defense Strategy

The Pentagon has sent a classified version of its 2022 National Defense Strategy to Congress.

A non classified version should be available in a few weeks.

I the interim there is a short fact sheet available on it.

The last NDS was issued in 2018 by Mattis.

Hint it is based around MDO.
Lots of OS MDO stuff from the DoD, US Army, USMC, USN, USAF and Space Force available on the net.

Open source stuff to date has the PRC listed as the Pacing Threat. Limited mention of Russian and more of a focus on the PRC overall perhaps.

Russia has been shown to be a less than Near Pear Threat.
We have 1/8th (ish) of the Military (250k troops,sailors, airmen etc) in and around Europe because of them.

It’s arranging the other 7/8ths for China.

I've been waiting for the unclassified version of this since it was originally sent to Congress and then I completely missed it when it came out in October.

Anyway, here's the unclassified US 2022 National Defence Strategy including the 2022 Nuclear Posture and the 2022 Missile Defence Review.
