I hope I am posting this in the right area, as I am new at this.  I received an e-mail from a friend with the following text and link, pretty interesting, I apoligize if this has already been posted as I have just recently discovered the site.

When I got this email about the heroism of a young Marine getting only a two
paragraph mention in the local paper, I sent an email to the Rochester
Democrat and Chronicle to find out if the information was true.

They did not give me the courtesy of a reply despite the fact I provided my
name and address as well as my email address.

It is a sad commentary that news is being ignored by some media outlets
because of their political agenda.
