I am trying to find some information about transfering from the Primary Reserves to the Reg Force as a LOG Officer, as I am currently an NCM in the navy reserves. Does anyone know the process that I would have to take to do this, or how long it could take? Would I have to do Basic Officer Training too, or is BMQ sufficient?
I currently have a degree in music, but don't know if that would be very useful as a LOG Officer. Would I be able to have the Military pay for another degree for me while training to become a LOG Officer? Also, after completing the first few courses for Log Officers (and, of course, the 1-year tour) would there be any chance to work in the interior of the country or at the coast but not on ship?
I appreciate any help!! Thank you!
